Grilling Tips
1. Preheat the grill for 5 minutes.
2. Check the heat by placing your hand 1″ over the grill (be careful) and count…one-thousand, two-thousand, ouch!
3. If you remove your hand between 2 - 3 seconds, then your grill is hot enough for the meat.
4. Place your meat on the grill and close the lid.
5. Check the meat in 10 minutes and then every 5 minutes thereafter.
6. Keep the meat face up until you see small bead of moisture bead up on the top of the meat; this means the heat is cooking through the meat.
7. Flip the meat over and cook for another 5 - 10 minutes; it will not take as long to grill on the second side because the meat is already cooked tw0-thirds.
8. Depending on the outside temperature, wind, and heat of the grill, we find that the meat cooks about two-thirds of the time on side one and one-third on side two.
9. Remove the meat from the grill and let it sit for 5 minutes; the meat will continue to cook for about 5 minutes after it is removed from the grill.
10. Enjoy…mmmm! …and remember to shutdown the grill
